As part of the ‘Understanding China’ conference held by the Protestant Academy of Saxony-Anhalt in Lutherstadt Wittenberg from 6 to 8 October 2023, the West-Eastern Encounters Foundation organised a panel discussion entitled ‘A Look at China – From the Perspective of the Neighbouring States’ on 7 October 2023. The foundation has a long-standing partnership with the Protestant Academy and attracted renowned experts to speak about the developments, expectations and challenges of the neighbouring Central Asian countries in relation to China.
