Encounter and understanding
Our support
Would you like to organise an exchange project or establish new contacts with partner organisations in Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, Central Asia or the Baltic States? We support your projects!
The West-Eastern Encounters Foundation supports youth encounters, cooperation between initiatives and associations, school projects and much more, whether it’s a climate workshop, history workshop, concert, meeting or sporting event.
We advise those seeking funding on how to plan their encounter programmes sustainably and apply for funding.

Call for Applications: Youth Forum “Building Green Bridges”
The “Building Green Bridges” forum focuses on climate, the environment, and biodiversity. The West-Eastern Encounters Foundation hereby invites participants from Germany and its partner countries in Central Asia, the South Caucasus and Eastern Europe to attend.
Youth Voices for Climate Dialogue
Over the course of a week, the participants explored topics such as climate diplomacy, biodiversity and the COP process. Together, they discussed the role of young people in international environmental negotiations, and how they can bring their perspectives and ideas to the forefront of international environmental and biodiversity dialogue.
